The Atlanta Fed president said he doesn't think inflation will go down to 2% anything, except that the best it will be in the 3% range at some point this year. The only thing that's going to allow that to happen is if we have a deep, prolonged recession,. That's the way you get it back down. And my problem with the... It's been widely discussed that the tools, the Fed has, are just ill-suited for the purpose. They don't do this job right.
