The letter was written probably 80 fifties, in te middle fifties. So a pretty early letter. It shows that from the beginning, the church was set on certain truths being there and needing to be confessed. But as is normal, dan, i mean, you and i could spend a whole episode just going over all the background, but we are people like the text. Exgeticl we're exegetical. Let's go into the text.
