The reboot of gossip girl is in the same universe, but there are only references to the original gossip girl website. Who starts up the new gossip girl? A group of teachers at a private school who get treated so badly by this kis and their parents that they decide to try and take revenge on these kids. Gossip girl as been gone for like a decade a the webside is dead. But te the the private schools, they still exist. And of course, social media is now a thing. In all the scads, they are not they are now obsessed with instagram. So what used to be like a fashionista, is now an influencer on ir and so forth
