The Problem With Overcrowded Tourists in Copenhagen

The number of international tourist trips reached half a billion in the early 1990s. In the next three decades it tripled again and we're now in a situation described by Italian social theorist Marco D'Aramo as 'every tourist's dream is to find themselves in a place without tourists' Just down the road from our studios that the tourist club of the region street polytechnic now the University of Westminster bought its own cruise ship a steam yacht in 1896. It would eventually become one of the biggest tour operators in the UK.
