The Repetition of Having

This entity, this imaginary object that was caught up in an imaginary logic of having early on is reduplicated at the level of commodity consumption. What we have here is a second level of having, a repetition of sorts. So what I want to suggest is that the cause of desire is here, in this transition from loss to lack. But on either side of this set, we have two elements that are closely connected and their connection is by way of repetition.
