The Role of the Gut Microbiota in Behavior
The gut microbiota seems to really strongly influence the behaviors. I would not be surprised if there's a role of the microbes which we've currently have not. They're very difficult experiments to do in humans, as you can imagine. You know, people have written about this so food intake and social connections. And also on a Mediterranean diet, largely plant based that they are more prone to have these these social behaviors than carnivores.
