Comparing Lithium Treatments for Tremor in Bipolar Disorder

This chapter analyzes a trial comparing instant release and extended release lithium in patients with stable bipolar disorder to determine which treatment reduces tremor rates. The study found that switching to extended release lithium significantly improved tremor in a higher percentage of patients compared to staying on instant release.
