The shower has become the last place where we don't hold ourselves to a certain standard of productivitya it's all we have left is the shower. We really need that time to store new information in memory, to form connections between ideas and test new facts against our understanding of reality. And we absolutely need it for creativity as well as just for like, mental health. It also, i always want to emphasize that everything that i'm talking about in the book, these things are good and important just on their own merit, not just as a means to an end of getting more things done.
