In libet, they found out that essentially a half second before the subject felt that they made the decision to move, a bunch of preparatory action was going on in the cortex. Which suggests that the decision was spookily made before the subject was even aware of it. And then there was more recent work with f mri, and they had subjects decide whether to add or subtract two numbers - this is more complicated in many ways. The mere movement of something, yes, it's definitly a more conscious action than the mere movement ofsomething,. like we move without thinking about it all the time.
