There is substantial evidence to support the use of antivirals as prevention of HIV. The CDC has really recommended that all sexually active adolescents and adults be at least considered for PrEP. We can range from daily oral PrEP to on-demand PrEP to every two month PrEP. There's now just in 2022 a recently improved injectable PrEP.
