Is There a Future for Manufacturing?

The rate of job turnover is something like 50% of the jobs every 75 years and this held remarkably constant for hundreds of years. One trick you can play is global labor market arbitrage, consolidations another good trick. I think we need radically new taxing systems for this kind of world but I think like taxing the robots with my records there is not the answer.
