The Role of Parents in Gun Violence
In Michigan, the prosecutor mentioned it today that they don't even have a mechanism to charge someone under 10 years old in this situation because of what you were saying. And so that seems to be part of the issue here. But to your point, we have started to see a lot of districts across the country, police jurisdictions actually crack down on parents and try to hold someone accountable for what's happening. Is this a problem that happens to exist in a certain part of the country more than others? I think about my home state of New Jersey. Obviously we have gun violence, but it tends to be, you know, a pretty split state, mostly blue.
