The Conflict of Interest
I want to go back to what you said about the Canadian reporters, you know, bending over backwards to grovel. Can they not just ask a straightforward question? Instead of all this lace and frilly stuff at the beginning, that really irritates me when journalists spend two minutes setting up their question and groveling. Just ask, this is a conflict of interest. How do you address this? And then his answer would have looked much weaker. It reminds me of Clarence Thomas, the Supreme Court justice in the US,. You know, wondering if it's okay for him to take those rides on the yacht and all these gifts.
