Why the Android Market Isn't as Exciting as Apple's
Apple dominates 85 per cent of the mobile phone market. This means they have more money to invest in processes specifically for their ecosystem. The android manufactures are incentivised to drive down costs, because it's much more of a volume thing. But by an large, apple dominates the high and to such a degree that there's actually very little incentive to push fore features that sell to the high angles.
