Timothy Stanley: One of the temptations for pride is thinking that we're great, right? But there's another type of pride that is kind of sneaky ere. True humility in preaching is not like, am i good enough? Am i not good enough? In my grate? Do i suck? He says surrounding yourself with people that know you and know the text are really helpful. "If you get too many apologies, bewareus just your church feeling sorry for you"
