The Problem of Nihilism

The philosopher who is probably most known for the concept of nihilism, although he did originate it, is Nietzsche. He frequently invaded against both Judaism and Christianity as what he called slave morality. Augustine's great insight was that evil can occur neither in the supreme good because it's not corruptible,. nor in the absence of all good, because if there's no good, there's nothing too corrupt.
