The leading democracies of the g 20 should collectively com to phasing out costs and tax braks for the production and consumption of fossil fuels. The un pricing associated with producing and burning coal, oil and gas amounted to five point nine trillion dollars in economic cost in 20 20. Nearly a quarter of these losses occurred in forty eight major and smaller democracies.
