Seeking Ghosts in the Churches
Survey of british adults in two thousand and found that over half of the adult british population did believe in ghosts. This was much more common amongst female respondents than amongst male respondents. The primary reason, i think, is the reformation which abolish purgatory as a holding zone for ghosts. So und under catholic as seeing ghosts is, you know, pretty much a normal thing. But under the reformed churches, ghosts are seen as either demonic or angelic - frequently the former.
