We are back with another series of But Why, and this series kicks off with a deep and meaningful chat between Clemmie and Steve Bland, co-host of the award-winning BBC podcast You, Me and the Big C, about finding love after loss.

After the death of his late wife in 2018, the BBC journalist Rachael Bland, Steve found love again with wife Amy and the couple are expecting twins in April 2023. In this chat, Steve talks about dealing with Rachael's death from breast cancer, coping with the aftermath, getting his life back on track and how he met Amy at a cancer conference.

You, Me and the Big C was launched by Rachael, along with Lauren Mahon and Dame Deborah James. Steve took over hosting duties after Rachael's death.
