The Problem With Praise in Design
As a design leader I think you need to constantly be reminding people how worse the product was before the design is going to evolve. Oakesburg has gone from a three out of ten to eight out of ten and it wasn't a ten but it's an eight out of 10. The praise gives you the power to be critical because when you're critical people listen to you. Designers are predisposed to find things broken everywhere but we also have the power to fix them.
