I don't think that Colin Kaepernick should have suffered penalties from the NFL or for his team. I think what our trial today of Kyrie Irving is to me an open-in-shut case, because there's no rational person who can defend these statements. The overtone window of acceptable opinion in this country has shrunk rapidly and mostly in a left-wing direction. You don't see many people like Colin Kaepernick, who are the victims of cancel culture.
