In the book of Daniel, a man has a dream in which he sees four great beasts that will rise up from the earth. The beast is trampling and crushing and devouring people but then God comes as king and judge and rescues the son of man to share in his rule over the world. So who do we discover the son ofMan is a symbol for? Verse 18, the holy people, God's holy people. Now if you ever went to Sunday school as a kid, your Jesus radar was going off earlier. You're like, wait, I thought it was Jesus. But just hang with me for a minute. It's the God's people.
