The Disaster Story of a Mezzanine Contractor
The worst moment hands down was in the first week of the build, we had to put two mezzanine floors into our building. The landlords specification floor finish was not as it should have been. We were expecting a solid reinforced concrete slab that we would obviously fix into. But they had decided to change that to for part of the green strategy. So imagine like a sandwich. You got a hard top, which is maybe I don't know, like six inches thick. Then there's a layer of insulation before you get to the concrete slab. That doesn't sound good to build an incredibly heavy thing on.
