The training is eliciting an intentional stress to some system in the body, right? If the goal is building muscle, then it's likely to the musculosystem. I want to produce energy faster in every second, every minute. And those are all different types of stimuli that I could subject my body to intentionally or otherwise during training. Most people are not subjecting about their body to anything intentionally. They're just like kind of arbitrarily going in there and going, "Let's see what happens"
