Uniswap v4 introduces what we call hooks, which are various points in every transaction. Hook is like an external smart contract that's interacting with the Uniswap protocol. You can also have hooks that basically adjust the fee for the pool in real time. And so if someone makes a trade that moves the price away from the current market price on UnisWap, that creates a profitable arbitrage opportunity somebody else can capitalize on.
