Is There a Need for a Policy Leveller?
There has to be much more significant thinking about why women leave and how they can be retained. It's about changing very, very deep seated norms that might not be written, but are practised,. About what a woman is expected to do and who is supposed to be absent when a child is ill. I think beyond policy, one of the key things that has come out from my research speaks to the urgency of expanding our imagination through images and through narratives.
