The Importance of Brain Plasticity
I think sometimes we, even though we're already in this conversation, breaking open the idea that nurture can win out and that we all have this ability. Speak to brain plasticity. We're not etched in stone, are we? No. And I think one key that I found very helpful when I talk to people, adults who want to acquire skills is to realize that the younger sort of prodigies often they might spend half an hour or something like that where you're really training them with a very explicit goal so they have to be 100% concentrated.
