The Perma Derm Academy

Perma Derm Academy offered two day permanent makeup workshops at hotels. Students would pay $2,500 to learn a tattooing technique on bananas. At the end of the two days, the students would be given the title of board certified dermatologist. The FTC started an investigation and in 1991, they accused Perma Derm of making perma derm just sounds like a lie.
