The History of the Baseball Card Industry

In your book, you describe the baseball card business as this kind of gritty and often cut throat enterprise. Can you talk about some of the big players in the baseball card industry and what things they did both good and bad that impacted the hobby? Yeah, it was pretty fascinating. A lot of what I learned came out of a case file now in the National Archives. It was a monopoly investigation started by the Federal Trade Commission in the 1950s.
