Footlocker - The CEO of Pennies
In 2009, I would not put my money on footlocker. It's in shopping malls. No one's going to shot. You can see the writing on the wall. The sneaker business was at its nader. Half the CEOs in retail were being fired and they were looking for somebody. When I left pennies, I said, if I don't get to be a CEO at the age I'm at, I probably wouldn't get to it. And footlocker offered it to me and it worked out well for me and hopefully for them.
