How Do You Approach Lighting on Sets?
On a film like that, how did you settle on the kind of look, the lighting look? I think we both had the same goal as to make it look real. And my father's motto was give him something to look at. So what I try to do is when the cameraman is setting up the shot, I'm pre-lighting. When they got the camera all set, the cameraman looks and says, this looks good, but let's do this or not, maybe nothing. You work together.
