Mastery Is a Process Oriented Approach to a Good Goal
"There's a process where like oftentimes you do have to accumulate enough underlying skill for to actually be useful for the outcome that you're interested in so yeah if you go into it just focused on the outcome there's going to be a very long period of frustration," he says. "Mastery does kind of force you to be a little bit more process oriented rather than outcome orientedYeah and there's considerable overlap when we talk about these different aspects of a good goal."
