Is There a Connection Between Death and Books?

i'm fascinated by the connection between death and books. If there was one kind of big idea of yours to emerge out of your body of work, that you wanted to be your legacy, or to be remembered by future generations, what would tat big idea be? It's that history is the history of empires. And empires right down there their doings more by enlarged than other policies. I certainly cling to the delusion that books give you some immortality,.
