President McKinley's Death

On September 13th doctors had given up hope that William McKinley could be saved. Theodore Roosevelt was instructed to return to Buffalo immediately with the expectation that there would be an imminent transfer of power. On October 29th Leon Cholegash was found guilty of murder in the first degree and executed at Auburn prison home to New York's only electric chair. The next episode takes a look at two assassinations from American history when John F. Kennedy is shot by assassins who were trying to secure his martyred legacy.
