What's the Difference Between CT and Interventional Radiology?
After the advent of CT scanning there then was MRI scanning. Magnetic resonance imaging used a principle of magnetic properties which wasn't strictly x-rays and that basically also enabled people to image the body even in more clear detail. Another slightly earlier but also important application of x-ray technology came with what's known as interventional radiology. This enables the radiologist to use radiological techniques to guide appropriate interventions and treatments.
