I'm thinking about the influence of things like social media, and how that seems to have activated a tribalism. The concept of the status game itis is a kind of re framing of that idea of tribalism. If you connect millions of people together, you're going to see status games being played. And those are dominance games, people threatening and coercing virtue games,. People showing off their virtue, following rules, enforcing rules, and success games. That's always, that is social media dominants virtue and success and that competition. So it's just our humanity, for better and for worse.
