The Cutting of the Branch Is God's Discipline in Love

In the Bible Jesus says, he cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit. The key here is that these branches are in Jesus. God will intervene and discipline you in love. All punishment for sin was taken by Jesus on the cross. That's how Jesus could say on the cross, it is finish.
