The God of Israel Will Not Only Judge Us but He Will Judge You Too
Zephaniah was saying, that is the day when the Lord will judge and it's getting very, very near. He boxes the compass on the west side of Judah was the land of Philistia or Philistines from which incidentally the modern Palestinian claims to be descended. On the east side Moab and Ammon on the south side Egypt and even as far south as Ethiopia are also included in the prophecy. Zephaniah has the courage to say these nations also will be judged by God, he is the judge of the whole world.
