The Best Music Video of the Speak Now Era
I think that enchanted would have charted higher than story of us. I'm starting to think looking back on it, the speak now era was not great for videos. Being a pop star is inherently zeitgeist-y and trend chasing. So you have to pay attention to what other people are doing. But I liked that one scene where she's shimmying,. You know, the one in the mean video and we got some, I like it. The main music video comes out, it is directed by Declan Whitebloom, who I've never heard from again.
