Do You Think the Strikes Compounded the Cost of Living Crisis?
Part of it was the distraction of industrial action, says chief executive. There were five bed shortages in ED department and that's likely to go up to 11 overnight. Do you run a food bank here? We certainly link in to them and we have a hardship fund. And when you talk about the flows through the whole system, I mean where are those blockages occurring? So I went to a meeting at four o'clock. They were all the people from the different departments from the hospital sitting around this big horseshoe table. Which I've then just adjust my calculation as they share it.
