What's the Measure of Power?
In order to have all of the nice things that make our modern world possible, we need high power. So solar energy is not very useful or it's not very easy to turn into high amounts of power. We can't really have our modern life without hydrocarbon because they are able to provide us with high amount of power on demand at any time and at any point.
