The Future of Russia's Undersea Infrastructure
Russia will come out of this war with only two parts of its military infrastructure undiminished one is nuclear weapons and the second is the submarine fleet. I do think we'll see Russia flexing its submarine muscles which are pretty substantial in the Baltics, Arctic or North Atlantic. NATO has just created a new center to develop responses for physical protection of cables there can be some of that but how do you protect thousands of miles of cable along the sea fed floor the Pacific many you can't do that so it's really going to have to be in the response and the deterrent side that the real work will be done.
