The Repetition of God's Character

All you who forsake shall be put to shame. People who turn away shall be written in the earth. Jesus understood this in a way that most modern pastors don't because he makes use of it. And if you try to do this in a sermon, Martin, it'll go right over most people's heads. They won't understand what you're doing. Let them roll down like waters. Let them flow like an ever flowing stream. This connects back to what we just read in Jeremiah. Justice and righteousness are good things. Where do they come from? They don't come from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. They come from the living waters of God.
