The Freedom of Information Is a Good Thing

We've traded, we've essentially made the trade in our modern model that says, Hey, for your attention, or for my attention, like I get this quote unquote free stuff. But it's almost like it's the costs are hidden. They're not right in front of us like a subscription model where I say, okay, I'm going to pay $10 a month and get access to Netflix or whatever have you. It's the even exchange. Here, we're not exchanging money, we're exchanging attention. And because of it's not something tangible, we often discount that. That discount is what leads to kind of the poor outcomes or the under reaction to things.
