If I start writing a first draft from my outline I need to finish that in one go otherwise there's too much reorienting that has to happen. Each of these only takes ten to twenty minutes and so I just block out the time and I focus and I finish it always finish it. You can do this with anything the point is just make some progress so that each thing can be finished every single day. As silly and small as this advice might sound it is profound and it will change your relationship to your work.
