The Draugr and the Zombies

The Draugr, like a vampire, has the ability to shapeshift. Some apparently some sagas say that there's a contagious element where someone gets bitten and attacked by killed by a Draugr and then as a result become a DraugR themselves. So that's very interesting because that's that also ties in with the zombie as virus sort of thing. But it isn't described as a disease at all in the sagas, it's more like the vampire things, more like a curse passing on than a disease. I recommend people read Bram Stoker if you want to see like a kind of original or someone's talking about Herzog's version of Nosferatu which
