The Ethics of Genetic Engineering

I think most people's once you get past the ick factor I think most people feel that this could be a totally unethical thing to bring into the world right so as I said I think we have a special case about messing with things that already exists that we don't necessarily apply to. If if we were to gingerly engineer a entirely new species it was going to make something that was like a brand new animal that didn't exist before and we were going to make it a hybrid, would that be an ethical thing to do? You've complicated the equation because now we're going back to things that we consider natural but somehow even more relevant what if we made a human chimp hybrid yeah
