Pragmatic Belief

Pragmatic belief is belief aimed at the good. You believe something because you have good evidence for it or because you have a good reason to think that it's true. Pragmatic beliefs are when we believe things because we want them to be true or because it would be good if they were true and having the belief itself would be good. Some philosophers are skeptical of pragmatic belief, but I'm going to use pragmatics interchangeably here.
