Movie Review - Nobody Ever Smiles

Every scene that's not a talking scene, someone is getting killed or getting beat up or getting chased. But then on top of all this, there are these moments of levity like we do have the whole wedding sequence. And i think that regardless of apollonia and how she is sort of used in this character, i love the cecily sequence because it feels like such a breath of fresh air after the mid point. We've been on that trajectory for so long that if we just had to keep going that direction, it might be too much, and might not leav,. we might not be half the energy to be emotionally invested any more.
