The North End of the Molasses Tank Disaster
The firehouse next door Was the first thing that was impacted and most of the firefighters were trapped inside. One of the firefighters drowned in the molasses during that time just became exhausted and slipped under the surface. At least 150 people were injured the death toll rose to 21 So a huge human toll but also as an animal lover I always think about all those horses that drowned in the terrible conditions after the flood. this in this moment of of destruction there is a chaos obviously no one understands what's going on"
